Is how i have to build my main team around hms. I wish there were a natural abilities section separate from the move pool.

You did not need to do this in Black and White, at all. >_>

^This. You literally had to use Cut once in the entire game, and it was at the beginning, where you could easily catch a Patrat or something for Cut.

The Pokemon Cycle. Don't deny its existence.

So the one thing about Pokemon that you hate is something they fixed in the newest games? Sound like GameFreak aims to please.

Eh, not really. I hate having to waste a spot on the move pool just so that I can go exploring.

That's why HM slaves were invented.

Solution:

1) Find a Pokemon that can learn a bunch of HMs. If you're nearing the endgame, you may not even need Cut.

2) Teach it as many HM moves at it can learn. If you can save stronger HMs (Surf, Waterfall, arguably Fly and Strength) for Pokemon on your team, all the better.

3) Stick it on your team, alongside five combat Pokemon.

Trust me: A team of five fighters is plenty enough to at least get to the E4 building. You could probably accomplish the same with a team of three without much effort.
I claim to be the official Porygon2 of the Pokemon Black 2 board. It makes me feel special.

A team of 3-4 pokemon is really efficient, that leaves 2-3 pokemon for HM slaves. There is really no reason you should have more than 3-4 usable pokemon on your team, unless you like grinding.
The most Important part of games for me is Music, Atmosphere, and Cold Colors. But I hate horror games.
