Yep. GameFreak has proven this multiple times :) Ex. Dive returns as a TM -> used in one location, only to find plates for a pokemon that DOESNT exist in-game; and to find text that couldn't be translated without a computer
Catcher_Freeman posted... There's actually supposed to be a legendary in Challenger's Cave.
An Ace Trainer in the cave says that a Legendary Pokemon lives there and trains its students.
That makes me wonder if it was originally Cobalion's home or something. Changed after they introduced the "musketeers don't trust humans" plotline came about or something.
I definitely agree that there needs to be SOMETHING in Challenger's Cave. Even if it's just really high-leveled Pokemon, right now the only reason the game has for keeping you out is the presence of non-Unova Pokemon. The trainers are good, but with the lack of rematches it's only temporarily relevant.

this.... i got emerald and played it through without access to internet, had to teach myself braille to get the regi's... so wasnt worth it, i find them to be generally useless
Did you buy the game, or you know... AAAAAARGH! Nah I'm totally kidding. There are many other ways you could have gotten the game, such as borrowing from a friend or getting it second-hand. Either way, the game came with a piece of paper to help you read the braille. Same as Firered and Sapphire, so I assume LG and Ruby came with it as well.
