Pokemon Red version the day it came out. The game released the day after my birthday, which was also the day I went to Toys R Us to spend my birthday money when I was little.

Bring me the answers, and the road that leads to truth.
Reveal to me once and for all, how all of this will end.

I borrowed Blue from a friend then bought Yellow for myself.
Check out my gaming blog. Or don't. I don't care.

I'm a bit surprised there aren't more people who didn't get started until after Gen 1.
This is here so that I can say something in all caps if I want.

I've been a loyal Pokemon player since Generation 1. Pokemon Yellow was my first game (Blue and Red soon after). I have bought pretty much every version game and spinoff since. (Yes, I'm that much of a nerd and addict. Lol)
