Hey all,

I just want to start out by saying that I am not new to RNG - I can RNG/PIDRNG well in BW1. For some reason I cannot hit my seed to save the life of me in BW2. I downloaded the most current version of RNG Reporter and have calibrated my DS Lite 3 different occasions in the past week and I cannot even hit my standard seed nevermind manipulate the PIDRNG for a stationary legendary. I am using Timer 1104 right now... if anyone can help at all I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

Try a different timer0. BW2 fluctuates between a lot more timer0s than BW1 so there's a smaller chance of hitting the specific one that you need.

It sounds like you're just having bad luck with the Timer0. BW2 have a much wider range of possible Timer0 that a save file will hit. How many trials did you perform during calibration? In my opinion, one should do at least ten test runs in these games to see the most common Timer0 hit...

It's most likely your timer0. They have a much broader range in BW2 so even if you have a common one, you can still get the others popping up as well. Also keep in mind that stationaries such as Uxie have their frames advanced by the WNPCs in the area.

Yeah. I did know about the WNPCs - thanks for the reminder. I sort of figured that I'd have to hit the calibration phase again... I did 6 trials earlier this morning but still no good. Thanks for the advice everyone. I was hoping there was a less tedious fix. :(

It will take a lot more than 3 or 6 calibrations to figure out your timer0 values in BW2.

You need a much larger sample in the range of 15-20 calibrations.
