I liked Ruby / Sapphire / Emerald, played Ruby and Sapphire multiple times. Problem for me was mainly the day / night. After gen 2 I was extremely fond of Umbreon, and I couldn't get that there. Made me a sad little puppy. D;
If you could turn back time, would you change your life?
I didn't like most of the new designs, I didn't like all of the water, I didn't like the lack of day/night and the general removal of rad things GSC had. It also felt more removed from the Pokemon world/ RBY and GSC flowed together well, and then there was just kind of another game that had nothing to do with anything.

There's only one thing I dislike about these games. Each move is either physical or special, and it only depends on the type. That means, for example, Blaziken's Blaze Kick doesn't do as much damage as it should, and Hitmonchan is utterly useless.
