Most of the Roster seems really uninspired and/or boring. Kratos is the worst of it all as he does nothing really unique. The only upside is a few characters with interesting playstyles (like Fat Princess) or a few characters from games that aren't really all that well known (Sly Cooper). Otherwise, generic.
If you love a person, it doesn't matter if they cheat. If you love a person, you won't cheat.
I don't fault them for the third party advertising shenanigans, but it's always going to be a bit weird having Big Daddy and the new Dante. I guess once the new DmC comes out, if it's great, then I'll be happy we got new Dante, but until then it'll be like hmm!
The first party roster is great tho. The only thing I'd do is swap Fat Princess for the Journey character since his game made a better impact, but who knows, thatgamecompany might feel the same way team ICO does and not want him in the game. =(
If I haven't mentioned Trivio in my post, it's because she is so beautiful and precarious that I just wanted to show her how much she means to me.
The problem I see on a lot of these topics either falls under-
1. Realizing Spyro and Crash are under Activision's control, and other copyright issues.
2. Noting that most of these started off on the Playstation, then spread as time went on, IE Big Daddy in Bioshock.
Just thought to point this out.
Spyro was a huge success and one of the big names on the Sony Playstation, along with Cloud, Lara Croft, and Crash Bandicoot. It's a natural reaction to expect the big names. It's like being served a chinese buffet, but missing the general tso chicken and fried rice.
