Side square, annoying but good move. But whats another good way to approach with him? Jumping triangle?
Jumping down square?
Idk i'm really curious because side square is definitely unsafe.

but isn't that also unsafe? i mean if you start it too early, you stop right before the enemy...or can kratos whiff the move and then just go with a square combo?

All of his other square normals have ridiculous range.

J.uT is a decent GTFO move. I suppose you can also use his wings for mobility

I know his square moves have good range, I'm just also looking for safe options for him.

What are you talking about? You just go up to the women and press O when prompted.
Then just follow the onscreen prompts. Easy. No need to practice unsafe s...

The thing with Kratos is that he doesn't need to be very close for his combos, which means you want to play him around the range of his Neutral Square. At this range, you outrange basically everyones Melee game, and can use his side square to punish any sort of approaching attack or projectile due to its super armor, as well as his parry. I guess basically what I'm saying, you only need to approach to a mid range distance from your opponent, where you can dictate the pace of the match. To get to that point, frankly just running, jumping and air dodging is your best bet lol

I laughed. Charge DC is good if they're on the ground and far away, and FT is ok but unsafe, but to be honest NS, DS, and US all have great range, and can all be used to start combos.
