You can somewhat put the characters in these categories:

Close Combat:
Sweet Tooth
PaRappa
Fat Princess
Big Daddy
Heihachi
Toro
Kat

Long Range Weaponry:
Radec
Jak
Ratchet
Emmet Graves

Gadgets:
Sly Cooper
Sackboy
Spike

Swordplay:
Kratos
Dante
Raiden
Nariko
Sir Daniel

I'm having a hard time seeing which category Nathan Drake, Good Cole & Evil Cole falls under. Any ideas?
Dynasty Warriors 8 has been announced. Looking forward to it and hoping for a handheld version.

Jak is actually mid range not long range. Drake and Cole are also mid range.
