I didn't do this in any other CoD games, yet this one I find myself constantly doing it. I would spray bullets into someone and just stop thinking they should have died....this is with guns I've gotten to gold. Put 5-6 bullets into someone and just stop, but they turn around and just kill me. Don't know if it's a mental issue or what but I find myself doing it quite often like I have a feel of what should kill someone and those expectations don't follow through for me?
Kill one man, You're a murderer. Kill 1,000 men, You're a king. Kill them all....and You're a god!

Play more hardcore, you'll get out of the habit probably. Why? Because, you hit someone twice and they drop dead in hardcore, so you'll get used to stopping at the +100 imo.

I do it because I try to stay mindful of how much ammo I have left. I try to conserve because I'm not very good with picking someone else's weapon up. Seems every time I've done that, I get killed before I kill anyone else. It's a tough habit to break.

In past CODs harcore would not show the +100 and the only way to know for sure if you killed someone is to check the killfeed (or watch their corpse drop). I haven't played any hardcore yet in BO2 but I'd assume this hasn't changed.

Yeah... sometimes I see their body drop and think they're dead... but they actually just drop-shotted... -_-
