It is if you play SnD exclusively. Each game mode has a different average SPM. One's overall SPM is largely an indicator of what game type they play - it's more useful to look at SPM on a game mode basis to determine how good someone is.

In what mode ppl get 600 freaking spm? most i seen in lobbies is 3xx.

hardpoint and dom are the easiest to get high spm's in. i play mostly HP and if i keep going at it, i will have around a 450-500 spm. kc is also a good mode to get a high spm in

One guy I play with has 590 by playing chaos moshpit exclusively, kill-whoring on demo, hardpoint & hq and votes nuketown & hijacked over and over. Plus, he's played two games of FFA and got a ~850 spm somehow and hasn't touched it since to preserve his ranking.

Just play hardpoint & hq and be aggressive all day long.

I would easily have a 600+ SPM if party games didn't count towards it.
