if teh DLC isnt purchased treyach will discontinue futre DLC and cancle the next game like Bioware did with Dragon Age 2

Actually, they didn't cancel the next full game. Dragon Age 3 is in development right now.

What they DID do, is cancel the Dragon Age 2 expansion, which actually supports TC's argument as it shows the power of the consumer. Release a dumbed down product and (at least if your name is Bioware) your DLC sales will suffer. You can bet that DA3 will return some of the depth and complexity that DA:O had.

Having said all that. it could well work the other way with Call of Duty. It gets dumber with every release, but as such a vast chunk of the community is in the 9-13 years old bracket, that probably doesn't hurt them commercially with DLC sales etc.

I don't plan on buying the DLC. But even if there are plenty of gamers who stand up and don't buy it, what about the countless multitude that already paid 50 bucks for the season pass...

i dont go on these boards much but I find it interesting everybody complains so much about it. Nobody I actually know dislikes the game and we all have a blast playing it. I have yet to play any online game that doesnt have some kinda small issues with it.

Or they can take the lack of sales the other way and delve even further into what was not wanted.

Anything they make from DLC is a bonus. Do you actually think they developed these maps after the release? No, this was $#%@ that didnt make the final cut. With that said, I'm getting the maps on the hope that they are better than the shipped maps. Likely not though.
Dear Rockstar: Please make a new "The Warriors". Thanks, peace.
