MP40 + Dual Mags + Jugg + Steady Aim. No contest in my opinion.

Bumping to say that nearly all of you are wrong.

It's 1887s and it cannot be sufficiently argued otherwise.

I view the 1887s more as a glitch that was never intended. When you made them akimbo the range became ridiculous. The proof being how quickly they were patched.

On the other hand, Treyarch intentionally made the MP40 overpowered and never patched it.

Lmao, was checking out some Akimbo Model 1887 videos from before they were patched, and came across this gem of a comment:

"they shoudent of patched them if they want the game to be more realistic they should of made them shoot farther; because shotguns can actually shoot pretty far an AA12 can shoot up to 200 yards not 3 feet like in cod its the ****ing 12 year olds that suck and get killed by the models a lot that complain like little *****es and ruin this game. they noob tube they complain they camp and they boost 12 year olds ruined COD"

You guys think they were OP? This dude thought they should've gotten a buff...lmfao.

uh i believe pre patch model had 2000-800 range instead of the 200-800 range it was intended to have...

i used to use those M1887s soooo much, especially after the nerf and not many people knew bling pro let them have the insane range again. One of my favorite parts of MW2, besides the nuke and the FAMAS

I judge OP based on two things, it's impossible to beat, or my k/d improves drastically by using it.

MP40 was garbage if you needed to ADS for mid or long range, which a lot of the maps had.

How come no one thinks the 3 burst Famas from MW2?

I think the famas was very OP, but it was just the same as the pre-patched type 95, 2 hit kill from ridiculous ranges and very accurate
