Hi all, just prestiged for the first time. Kd ratio is .57. So basically I suck. Poor accuracy is the main problem. What are your five tips to prioritise ?

1, dont aim just hip spray with a laser sight
2, use the MCSC, Peacekeeper or similar
3, use an AR for long(er) ranged maps
4, try playing with sensitivity, I bought some FPS Freeks recently and its made alot of difference, and Ive got big hands so makes it more comfy ; )
5, dont post serious question on GFAQs, you will probably get trolled

Different things work for different people, those are just 5 things I could think of!

What gun(s), attachments and perks have you been using so far? What scorestreaks do you have set up?

My first recommendation would be to use your permanent unlock from presitging to unlock a weapon or perk that you use all the time, or are really good with, but that also unlocks quite late.

Ghost, AN-94, stuff like that. Ghost is a good one to go for.

Basically, don't just run around aimlessly. Every time you go round a corner, strafe round it and get ready for someone to be right there.

Adjust your sensitivity in the controls options. I have mine set fairly high, I think the default is waaay too sluggish but everyone will have a sweetspot.

If you find yourself dying all the time, perhaps check out an SMG, whack on Ghost, a silencer, and a laser sight. Sneak around buildings, close quarters areas. Don't be afraid to hip-fire. One of the biggest issues I had when I first started is that I would ALWAYS scope in - losing valuable time in close quarters.

Create a class with an FHJ rocket launcher, and an LMG with Full Metal Jacket. If you die to something like: Stealth Chopper, Escort Drone, Lodestar etc., switch to that class and kill whatever is causing the chaos.

May not be the best advice ever, but I was on a pretty bad negative K/D when I finished my first prestige, and now I'm just about to get to prestige 4 and I'm up to 1.11, and I have a positive win/loss ratio too, so I'm quite pleased with that as I know I've improved a lot.

1. Try using a shotgun on all maps. It will help teach you the maps, and teach you how to use cover and flank.

2. If the enemy puts air support up, pull out that SMAW! Particularly if it has just killed you, don't be afraid to switch classes to take it down.

3. If you know an enemy is around a corner, it typically benefits you to make the first move, especially if using lightweight. Thanks to the quality netcode, you will usually get a jump on him.

4. If you get killed 4 times in a row by the same person, change your strategy. Whatever you are doing clearly isn't working and you're feeding the other team killstreaks.

5. Want to be instantly good? Use target finder!

These are serious unlike other posters in this topic, but here we go
1. Learn the maps and the routes people run on them, for example on raid 2-3 snipers snipe in the spawn at the beginning, grab a sub, and rush straight to the right or left on the side, and pick up a free double kill
2. Learn the top tier weaponry, While this game has great gun balance and every gun is viable, there are still some that outshine others, For example, use the MSMC and the An, 2 of the highest tier guns in the game.
3 If you really wanna do good do this trick: For your first 3-4 games, up your sensitivity by two after those are done, go back down, this will make your accuracy superb
4 If you find yourself dieing consistently with your equipment, make a use of it, equipment is huge in this game
5> For high streaks, get on the obj, get those cap kills, cap those flags
