I prefer to listen to music and work on my gunskill vs sitting around listening to footsteps so i can surprise shoot someone.
I dont know why some people play the way they do.. if you are moving working on map awareness and aim, you can feel yourself improving and getting better. Which is just alot more fun than trying for cheap kills.
Speaking for myself, I have a basic TB headset (hate the thing, it barely fits my head, but my first choice had to be returned because it didn't fit my controller's jack), and I've never been able to sound***** anybody.
In Zombies, it acts as a decent safeguard, but that's mostly because of how loud they are.
