this is how it is for everything ps3 versus 360. part of the reason is the ps3 could originally host another OS and OS dont compress files like the 360. so the ps3 always has larger PC sized patches for everything. nearly every game i know of the patches on the 360 are a few MB but the ps3 is 100s of MB big.

its just the way it is. the 360 compresses it the ps3 doesnt. and im guessing the 360 is a bit more effective at coding than the ps3.

Maybe that's true to some degree. But, 600MB:5MB compressing? That's hard to buy.

PS3 updates are always huge. That's just how it is.

Ps3 updates nearly always include dlc so when you buy a dlc pack from the store it'll unlock right away in the game. Its to avoid you having to install every piece of dlc. Chances are the ps3 update includes the next character pack.

The PS3 seemed to have more bugs the 360 didnt so if thats true theirs was more memory its not surprising.

Damnit, I had recreated the Internet Title to fix the call name thing, and realized how cool it looked with a purple strap to match the headband. Oh well.

I posted this over on the PS3 board, but I noticed after the patch came out that it fixed Val Venis's character picture. Instead of being a regular picture its now a model like everyone elses.

its also in part with how the PS3 coding and structure is. the PS3 is to be blunt a pain in the ass to code for. its by far the worst of the bunch. this can easily result in things that for example might be three lines turn into 10 lines. add to the fact that is this series where it is one giant walking glitch fest this problem is even more magnified.

it is just the way it is. the ps3 patches are always massively bigger.
