Servers have worked fine the last 2 weeks. Community Creations is a different story. If you try to log on and simply play ranked or player matches however it works about 95% of the time. Rarely you'll get a long loading screen followed by servers are down, but if you try and connect again it works.

I agree if the servers go down this game will lose a lot of value. Considering you never get a cutscene at PPV's that tends to kill Universe for me. All that build up for a generic match with a boring ending. At least online, despite being plagued by spammers and hackers, occasionally has a good match with legit players.

Oh well, here's to a regime change. May our new overloads be better than our previous ones.

And the game would come with one CAW slot and you would have to pay 800 MSP to unlock the other 19 slots. They wouldn't even give you 50 slots.

As much as I hate EA for chewing up and killing companies such as Maxis, Westwood, and probably some day Bioware, they are good at the 'yearly rehash' shtick.
