...in their story quests when it's near impossible to get into dungeons? Yesterday, I couldn't get into the quest dungeon through queue nor chat. For the life of me, I don't get why they thought it was a good idea to make dungeon parties smaller. It's been the case in almost every MMO that DPS has to wait a prolonged period of time. Why make it so there is even LESS DPS per dungeon? Why not make parties 6-man so there's 4 DPS per group?

Queue up, switch classes and go do something else, longest I've waited so far is 2 hours.

So, I take it you've never played a Final Fantasy game.

What does Final Fantasy in general have to do with having long queues?

2.5% of FF games are online...

Find yourself a tank or healer friend that'll do it with you.

I've been offering to tank for one of my friends, a Monk, and when we team up, it only takes us 2 minutes or less to get into a group.

2 hour dungeon queues sound OK to you? Again, the solution to at least somewhat alleviate the problem is larger groups. Not smaller. I don't get why the 4-man party seems to be the way many MMOs are going.

Whatever happens to happen always happens for the worst,
and if the worst is yet to happen I hope it happens to you first.

Because the most you ever had in a FF party was 4 characters, usually it's 3.

What do single player FFs have to do with this? This isn't the same genre of game.
