According to a translation by Final Fantasy Network, the team believes the entry is unique enough to warrant a different name, as calling it XIII-3 might give the impression that it would be a direct evolution of Final Fantasy XIII-2. Kitase referred to the game as a new experience.
Maybe I read that wrong but seems like LR won't be a direct sequel to FF13-2.
If it's not a sequel of FF13-2's "to be continued" then that means people getting this game for the FF13-2 closure won't be getting the sequel they been wanting.
I'm still wondering how Lightning uncrystalized and started to conveniently started walking around after the FF13-2 ending., or how Lightning came back from the ending of RotG DLC.
Will anyone change there mind about getting this game if it isn't a direct sequel to FF13-2?
Now playing Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy III (on PSP), Halo 4, Oblivion and Crisis Core: FFVII Halo 4 owns Call of Doody: Black Ops II
Im thinking they mean the battle system is entirely different, it only features one character ala games like Dark Souls, Skyrim etc., and its a competely different game engine than XIII-2 which was just XIII again.
Best show: Game of Thrones Best game: Tactics Ogre Let us Cling Together I am not female; Yukanna means "the valiant" in Japanese.
