Persona is a Role-Playing Story. It barely has gameplay other than the repetitive dungeon crawling.
Because FF is known for its game play right? Oh wait most FF games used classic RPG turn style combat. Just like Persona. SMH.
At least FF games except for XIII have a really large world with lots of places to go to, Persona doesn't have that, only a small school, and a really small town, some NPCs here and there, and random dungeons.
Given, but those things make sense given the stories of a game. Final Fantasy games are always meant to feel like like you are embarking on a huge adventure. Hence the big worlds. Because the group almost always ends up traveling as part of the story line.
Persona games are just done in a different way. The setting may be small but the end goal always ends up big. A group of high school students, in a modern setting, have no business running around all over the world. It would just make no sense at all.
