...it's finally happened. Someone has said something that makes so little sense, I can't form a coherent response.
You meant EITHER:
They didn't prepare to make potions on the quest, which is normal, because who would ever make potions on a quest?
They didn't prepare to make potions before the quest, which has absolutely zero bearing on the quest itself, because you can BUY THEM.
So which is it? I've lightened up on my Grammar Policing these last few years, and this is the state we now find ourselves in. People just type anything, anything at all, and it doesn't even have to make sense. It could mean anything, or nothing.
