Whenever i play with hunting horn users, they seem to never contribute anything other than stat bonuses. Not that i mind, i love infinite stamina and attack bonuses, but inflict some damage too!

Nah, it depends, my cousin just gives the boosts we need and helps us kill

Though the ones that stand back and play music forever are worthless, I mean they only have 4 songs :p

There are really only a couple songs I will play if I have the notes. Well, and a couple situational ones once in a great while.

An experienced hunting horn user plays songs while killing monsters, but I understand there's a learning curve for it.

I've played with plenty that play songs while fighting. In fact, I think not enough of them even play the songs. Some just keep fighting and it's like, what's the point of using a HH if you're not gonna take advantage of its niche?

good HH users bring appropriate HHs and utilize tunes to fit the fight, ie antidote, para immune, etc

I always pre-load important notes before zoning into a monster(IE HGE vs giggi or los, etc), and play it when I zone in, but then for others I do as any HH user should.

Using recital attacks as attacks.

If I ever see a fellow HH user use antidote or paralyze immunity, I will kick them.

It really depends on the HH user..but as a few mentioned.

A skilled one will play songs while fighting. So when you have one sometimes playing music..take a look and see if they are using the recital to also attack. As it does churn out attacks as part of playing. And they are some of the stronger attacks available to HH users.

So yes a good HH user is focused on playing songs. The trick is they play the song as part of their attacks.
