if anything, it looks like 3% better, maybe it's just cause I haven't played it in 7 months, but the hail/beards look sort of better. Lot of other stuff, armor textures especially still looks like musty butt though.
Although it must be noted that the HD texture pack does not enhance the visuals of the original game. Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen is a big game that is impossible to be fitted into a single DVD9 disc. Instead the visuals in Disc 1 are downgraded to save space for Dark Arisen expansion. The players must install Disc 2 HD texture pack to play the game with its original visuals.
As always I think the answer is somewhere in between. I've been playing Dragons Dogma all week in preparation for this and there is a slight improvement to the graphics. It looks slightly brighter and sharper to me, although not anything ground breaking. Load times are also improved.
