I'm sure a lot of people on here have no issues with gold, or just used the carrot trick on the original DD then moved to DA, but for those who just bought DA or only got DA when it was on PS+ this is a handy trick to get a lot of extra gold with fairly low risk.

You can do this as early as you can get the Master Thief skill for Striders(Rank 8). So if you have the desire for lots of gold before you're able to kill Offline Ur Dragon by coughing in his general direction(exaggeration) then this is a great little guide.

First, What You'll Need:
Access to Bitterblack Isle (It's the blue quest marker on your map, it has to be nighttime to start the quest. Simply follow the marker.)
Rank 8 Strider only skill "Master Thief" (Rank 6 "Pilfer" works too, but steals less items)
At least 60+ Large Mushrooms
Dodge skill helps.

Method of the Madness:
I decided a few maps can show the way far better than I could explain in text. So I drew these up real quick just using MS Paint. The Blue/White Star is where you will start the area at and the Blue/White arrow is the direction/path you should take. I highly recommend sprinting through every area except the 2nd area "Duskmoon Tower" as if you are a low level(20-30) you will probably die very easily to most everything in here. Another thing, if this is your first venture into BBI you will run into Death in the first Courtyard. Don't worry, just ignore him and continue down the directed path.

First Area, Garden of Ignominy:

Second Area, Duskmoon Tower:

Note: This area is non-hostile. Only fall damage or snake's poison can be dangerous here.

Third Area, Ward of Regret:

Note: Avoid the chest on the wooden platform with the orange snake looking guy on it, that chest is always a Maneater.

Fourth Area, Midnight Helix:

The Black/Red star is your goal. This enemy is known as the Condemned Gorecyclopes, and he is the source of all of your future income. All you need to do is run up to the Gorecyclopes and use the Master Thief skill on his leg. You only need to use this skill once. After you hit him with the skill immediately leave this area and go out the way you came in.

If you have any pawns still alive with you, I recommend passing loot to them as you stock up. Head back into Midnight Helix and steal from the Gorecyclopes again, every time you leave the room his stealable loot will restock and you can steal 4 items from him each time.

The reason we do this is each item from him sells baseline for 16,000 to 26,000 gold each, and you get 4. You can also sometimes get Bitter Black Gear and Novelty items which you can purify back outside the dungeons.

----------------------------

That's it. If you don't have a Life Stone(Ferry Stones don't work) to get out you'll need to retrace your steps to get back out which can sometimes be difficult if you are weighted down, but be vigilant. In about 30 minutes of this I can get around 3,800,000 Gold without using any sell increases.

To maximize profits, use the sorcerer skill that increases sell values by 15%(Stacking 4 times for 60%).

I am not saying this is the best or even fastest way to make gold. But it is quick and very easy and requires very little in-game power to do. Hopefully this can help newcomers to the game or people who're restarting.

thank you for sharing and contributing your nice find and well written guide ! but thats a waste of time getting gold with low level.

simple start in hardmode, kill wolfes, goblins, small enemys in gransys and you gets often 10k gold bags. i start all my new games in hardmode and have 300-500k gold when reaching gran soren.
you gets lots of gold, simple just playing the game.

I personally believe that is way too tedious for any low levels and high levels alike. It might be viable under great desperation but you really don't need to "grind" for gold in this game, at least in my experience.

Though I have played this entire game in hard mode so I've never found the need to gold farm, so maybe that's me.

What about using prosperity on the offline UR? Does it make all the scales, bones, and stuff that drop turn to gold?
