Possibly, I may stay out of this generation unless x game comes out that I must have! (explain in a comment)

I've decided that though I would really like a PS4, I don't need it as I still have my PS1, PS2 and PS3 library.
Next gen has not blown me away so far, and I don't believe its very likely to do it, period.

So, I've stipulated that the only way I will be picking one up is if they release a special edition PS4 in an Elder Scrolls VI bundle. As the ES series is multiplat and unlikely of getting special treatment from Sony, I've realistically viewed the odds as slim to none of this happening - therefore I will not be joining you all in this generation.

I already bought an I'm enjoying my Wii U, and plan on buying a PS4 probably within the year as well.

This generation is just getting started, and while there are still plenty of games left to enjoy from the previous generation, to write off this generation so early into it is, honestly, very shortsighted.

In any event, enjoy your games, whatever system they're on.

I own a Wii U, not sure why it's not up their. I did own a PS4 but I sold it to my sister who wanted one for her son. I won't be buying another one but I might buy an Xbox One now that this Kinect stuff is over. If not I'm more than happy with my Wii U.

Does the Wii U not count? Because I'm definitely going to get one of those eventually, probably around the time of X. For the rest, I've seen nothing yet that has convinced me to not simply upgrade my PC's graphics card and forgo the consoles. Really, Microsoft has a huge chance to convince me with their RARE IPs, but they'll never do it. For me, Sony's only hope is Japanese third-party support from JRPG developers, as otherwise all they've managed to do is **** up my favorites like Ape Escape and Twisted Metal for an entire generation.
