It will triple them, and that's according to Microsoft.

Like KungFuPhil said the PS2 got a lot of sales for being a cheap DVD player, just like the PS3 got a few early sales for being the cheap BluRay player. The PS4 doesn't really have the fact that it's a cheap Netflix player going for it.

To answer your question TC, maybe.

There are a few reasons it won't. A lot of people bought the PS2 simply for a DVD player and a lot of causal gamers bought too. PS4 has A LOT more competition in the form of mobile gaming and PC gaming. Although the XONE is getting destroyed by the PS4, it is a bigger threat than the original Xbox.

Seriously, hear someone out before you act like a complete fanboy next time.

Every post I've read of yours bashes Sony or praises ms, that's why I posted that.

You do the exact same thing, but praise Sony and bash MS.

Still going to cancel your Showtime just because there is going to be a Halo series on there?

Short answer: No.

Long answer: Not even close to PS3 or 360. Just the way the market has shifted from last generation to this one. The rise of PC gaming and Sony/Microsoft shooting themselves in the foot with anti-consumer policies in combination with less casual support assures this. It's only "omg hype selling so much" because we're at the early adoption cycle for these consoles. Even the Xbone hasn't fully sank to the bottom, yet.

Lol, I've answered that Showtime question before, and saying "maybe" to the TC's question is praising Sony?

I have admitted to hating ms, but I don't think I'm a fanboy. I bought a 360 way before a PS3, after a couple of RROD's and bad customer service, I lost all respect for ms.
