IF Ryse ran @ native 900p (xbox ONE), would ps4 run it at native 1080p?

I think this will be a clear indication of what to expect from Xbox ONE vs PS4 when it comes to multiplats.

Not saying Ryse will be multiplat, but if game x on Xb1 runs at 900p, and ps4 is in fact 50% more powerful.....

Well, yea....

900p is pretty good, I doubt you would notice the difference.

Yeah 40% less pixels would not be noticeable.

Still way more than the sub 720 you had last gen.

No not really. Probably the least resolution I've seen this generation is 1024x576. That is a 35% decline in pixels compared to 720p.

I'll put this in retrospect...the difference between 900p and 1080p, is more than the pixels in 1024x576 resolution.

It's not as simple as more pixels = more difference.

As you get more and more pixels they start meaning less and less.

And you guys thought 576 was HD.

Who is "you guys"? I mostly game on PC, there is an obvious difference between said resolutions, even 900p compared to 1080p.
Xbox One = Xbone = Crossbone = Jolly Roger.

Of course they do, but 900p is still visibly noticeably different on a 1080p native display than a native 1080p picture.

I doubt it if you're just playing on a TV. Unless you have a huge TV or are standing really close to it.

I have a 55" television, it's noticeable. Heck even 1080p is not enough for a crystal clear picture at that size.

Your forgetting to apply motion blur and antialiasing.
When you duplicate the console tricks, then it looks like a blurry HD.
