About the same as they lasted with the 360. I buy the energizer lithium batteries and they last 2 or 3 weeks.

My batteries from launch are still good (playing about 2 hours a day). I took them out yesterday though and just started using a micro USB cable to play wired.

Don't get a play and charge. Get this:
http://www.amazon.com/eneloop-Pre-Charged-Rechargeable-Batteries-Position/dp/B004RP2VNI/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1387471370&sr=8-4&keywords=sanyo+eneloop

I've had the same set for 3 years and they're still going strong. I probably get somewhere around 25-30 hours per charge.

Mine just ran out last weekend, I play mostly on the weekends with maybe 2 or 3 days during the week for about hour and a half to two hours.

I bought a pack of Eneloops, they arrived on the 13th and I've been using the same pair to this day. Granted I haven't been playing all that much on the One, I've been playing most of my 360 library because it actually has games at this point in time.

I prefer the Xbox systems over the Sony systems all day, but I have owned both and I have to say; having built in batteries and coming with a charge cable is a great idea and I have no idea why Microsoft hasn't done this also. Maybe they have stock in every battery company or just trying to sell more plug and plays, either way it is kind of lame that the XBONE controller aren't pre-built with internal batteries.
