Why would they give the PS4 exclusive Beta for Destiny. I never been one to really care about Betas but it seems strange that a dev who was built on the backs of Halo fans will suddenly distance themselves from that fanbase.

I don't care that it's multiplatform but which console is likely to have the larger fanbase for a Bungie shooter?

And whose more likely to buy the game day one, the 9 million plus Halo 4 owners or the 2 million plus Killzone 3 owners.

And whats with the exclusive congratulations message to Sony. How about some integrity.

Dunno, maybe they hold a grudge against Microsoft, or maybe Sony offered them some incentives to favor their platform.

Did they have to sale Halo for their freedom from MS or something?

They should of known MS wouldn't let them take Halo when they left to make multiplatform games. That'd be like taking Mario from Nintendo or Kratos from Sony.

MS doesn't take ownership of most of their developers IPs afaik, there was some deal though in Bungee becoming independent.

Either money or just to stick it to Microsoft for not letting them do what they wanted with Halo.
Xbox One and PlayStation 4
Because I can buy both.

They were done with Halo and wanted to move on to another franchise. Money is the key to exclusives.
