More consoles sold means bigger installed base. Bigger installed base means better quality games on the way. The current sale at $449 is a win for early adopters and newcommers alike.

Also, I would like to take this moment to remind all of you of my prediction. On January 1 2014 I said that this console would be available for $449 by June, and $399 by Christmas. Once again my predictions turn out to be true.

What's this about install base? I thought sales don't matter.

Early adopters shouldn't be upset. People who bought the Titanfall bundle 10 days ago for $50 more....they may have a little reason to be miffed.
ALL games should have a Single Player mode. I can always guarantee I want to play when I turn on my system. I can't guarantee others will at the same time.

I will admit that while I am a little disappointed that I could have waited another week until purchase, I remember how much fun I've had so far, realize that I've made that money back and then some and I'm like, oh well, these things happen.

Then I continue to game. =)
Go where the games are...

I think you meant to say bigger install base means more of the same IPs over and over.

You guys could try to call whereever you bought the console, and ask them if there is a "price guarantee like Best Buy's price guarantee where they will match the price if it is within 30 days". You tell them just like that to see if they can accomodate you. Someone said that they bought it 10 days ago for $50 more? At least try what I said. You have nothing to lose by asking.

I beat Dead Rising 3, Ryse, Crimson Dragon and played a crapload of BF4 and PvZ Garden Warfare before this sale. Not exactly poor enough to delay my enjoyment of other games for months to save $100.

Having a bigger install base doesn't give me my money back.
