CryEngine, so yes that's for sure. Same with Unreal 4 and Frostbite 3. Ask the devs.

Games that are linear and get lowered resolutions to apply that power to other aspects would look nowhere near as good if they were actually open world. And Ryse may come close to inFamous: Second Son, but iF: SS is easily the best looking game yet


How many more months of development time did Infamous SS have? Let alone comparing a launch game that was rushed like every other launch game on both consoles. If anything your topic should be the other way around...
