They can't sustain that price for long, it is just backfiring. Is there an inevitable price drop at E3 or bundle?

$600 was more expensive for less.

To be fair it was still the cheapest Blu-Ray player on the market even at $600.

That being said, if you don't like the price don't buy the product.
I'm not the nicest person you'll meet.
Have a real point please.

You can build a

4th gen i5 cpu
$200 video card
1 gig hdd
8 gig ram

PC for $700 or under. Not counting a monitor.

Its a complete rip off.

Not saying that you should go PC. But $500 for weak hardware is a joke.

I would pay $400 for XB1 with Kinect.

I would pay $700 for a console that can compete with a $700 pc. PS4 has weak hardware as well.

Microsoft is bound to drop the price significantly.

The Xbox One is way overpriced today and it's not selling well.
( Plus the hardware is weak and third party support is drying up but one thing at a time )

Of course Microsoft will drop the price. They do not have a choice.
Unless they just cease producing the Xbox One, which is already happening anyway.

It isn't that bad for a device that is meant to bring you endless hours of entertainment for 5-6 years and longer if you never rid of it. I mean my video card costs more...My SSDs cost more..to think that I can get a entire gaming machine for $400-$500 is pretty nuts.

Well, lets be honest, though: a lot of the people that troll this board couldnt be trusted to build a sandwich. Thus, console wars. But you miss out on a lot of good stuff going pc only.

I got xb1 for its first party exclusives and console exclusive multiplats. I paid 450 and got a game included along with kinect, which has games, and gaming possibilities not available on pc.

Just sayin.

Yeah but the PS3 was powerful in it's day like the 360 and had blu ray. The Xbox one isn't powerful at all.
