I honestly don't think they would until it is proven in a real capacity that the cloud will make a console more powerful by off loading certain things. The internet speeds are a big problem in our country when we average them out, so why waste the money on something not proven yet.

Sony is working with rackspace for their own cloud needs. What they plan to do with it is unknown... other than, I assume, playstation now.

Bigger question, why can't 360 use the cloud and be as strong as 3 xbox ones?

They claim that the 360 version of titanfall uses cloud servers for bot AI, so I guess technically it can.

Sony is bankrupt and relying on indies, can barely put some real games out. Azure? Lmao! But hey, one can dream

Not as powerful as the XBO to handle offloading CPU tasks over the network. I'm sure there are other technical hurdles preventing the 360 from doing this as well such as the cpu buffer/bus/bandwidth, etc.

The 360 has a 3 core CPU, XBO has 8 cores.

You are aware the "appeal" of Azure is they made it cheap as dog snot by artificially creating a bunch of "virtual" servers to work with?

Even decent sized businesses only have to pay $99 a month @_@
