Socom 2 was the only multiplayer shooter I ever "lived on"
Call of Duty 4 when the leveling system was brand new was good, It just got old and the community soured after the first implementation of it.
PC, World of Warcraft, I've sunk legitimately 4 years of /played into the game, so I gotta toss it on, even though it's not console, they revolutionized a genree and have had the most ripoffs try and steal it's concepts, that it's adapted and kept fresh for a full decade.
I played Unreal Tournament on Dreamcast, so many fond memories. With a community well under 1000, everybody new everybody back then. Clans were like families and clan battles were like nothing I had ever experienced before. Those were the days...
This is basically the same thing I had with MOHH2 on the wii... Strong online community of 800 committed players... every knew each other and there was always so much fun.
Intel Atom 1.20GHz - 512MB DDR2 SDRAM - Serial ATA 5400 RPM HDD - Intel GMA 3600
Desert storm black hawk down, also not a huge community around 12k people Graphics sucked but it took some skill health didn't regenerate no health packs only medics, two well placed shots you died, bullets droped in elevation.
This is one I would love to see remade with better physics and updated graphics it was an xbox game.
