Microsoft trots this cloud stuff out every three months or so, industry experts bring up latency and then they crawl back to their offices without a peep until the next round of the PR cycle starts.

Once you hit the shot, the game can go to work calculating the physics deformation of where it lands. This is a latency insensitive application shown in the TC.

Not interested in tech demos. Want to wow me? Show me a game.

Running from Azure? They've already shown a playable Halo 4 running on the Cloud. Google it.

Yes they streamed a game through the cloud, because that's never been done before, and no one is doing it now right?

Irrelevant. You asking for a game that was through the cloud and I told you about one.

Looks interesting. That said, I'm still skeptical that we'll see any real advances for the user side anytime soon. Hopefully I'm wrong and MS comes up with some exclusives that really makes meaningful use of Azure. I'm not opposed to the idea of owning an X1, I just want a compelling reason to do so.

Cloud processing is not exclusive to MS.

I like the forward thinking approach that 'Cloud' and Azure brings, it looks like MS is taking a gamble and hoping to be the lead platform for this technology (as far as I can tell).

I don't expect we'll see much from it in retail games for a little while, but it's great that it's being given some decent focus.

But can we plant an acorn and watch it grow into a tree in the next Fable? Not impressed until we get that.
