Just get an external drive it's not only more spacious but also faster if you get a 7200rpm drive.

lol @ people bashing TC. I have nearly 30 games or more installed with multiple apps and I'm only a little under 50%. I've even proven this on this very board with pics before. Deal with it.

Yeah a little over 50% when this console hasn't even been out for a year and its lifetime will be another 4 years at the least.

I'm not saying 500 is enough. I'm just saying it's very possible to have a ton of stuff installed and still have far more space than they're implying. The other thing is as this gen goes on, I'm not going to leave all of my retail games installed. I'll uninstall the ones I don't play to manage space. I did it last gen with a 250 on 360 with around 300 games installed.

You should've been more clear with your initial post then. And I understand that some people won't leave all of their games installed but there are people that play all of their games frequently. That's what I'm trying to point out that's tedious and inconvenient.

TC, that makes no damn sense given the average size of Xbox One games.

My COD: Ghosts alone takes up 40GB.

Do you have any recommendations for good places/sites to browse for them? Or any good brands and specs?

From what I've gathered WD likes to use 5400rpm drives. Personally I opted for a Seagate as that's a 7200rpm drive and cheaper than the WD.

WD has faster drives, and Seagate has the worst reliability in the HDD industry. Saving a few bucks is not worth having to replace your drives three times as often and losing data.

Is it possible to use an external SSD?
Everything's shiny, Cap'n. Not to fret.
