Sony is acting like this thing is a huge step forward however all I see a pair of goggles with TV screens in them, is there something I am missing?

They won't be the future until it's like Sword Art Online

Seeing as my beloved Microsoft is struggling to hit 1080p and 60FPS, VR might be a bit too much to ask for.

I love the fact that this stuff is coming, but lets not be hasty. I'm happy that Sony is also jumping in, but just the Oculus would have been enough for now, until we figure out how to use them best. I'd hate to see everybody going all in like the whole motion control thing.
