doritos crash course...wasn't that a promotional free game?

How did that make it on the list before ghost recon? Or any of the most requested?

ms continues to disappoint

Because they knew everyone had it that had a 360 and it would show off How BC works. Almost like a commercial. Hey look here it is bbbbbbbb C like everyone wanted it's here.

Xbox One has backwards compatibility now, but can I put any 360 disk in and play?

If you have a disc for a game that is backwards compatible, then you can put it in, download the game, and then play it. Here is the current list of supported games: http://majornelson.com/2015/11/09/the-list-of-xbox-one-backward-compatibility-games-is-now-available/?linkId=18611744

The plan is to add more over time.

I've noticed only some games are "available" to download. But that just means the digital version right?

Games that you own digitally that are supported by backwards compatibility will automatically show up in your "Ready to Install" list.

Okay great pretty sure I'm understanding now. So if i own disks now, and they aren't on that list, then they won't download? But possible soon those certain titles will be available?

that linked list is way out of date, here is updated list

There's at least one or two NeoGAF users who claim that Gauntlet is BC. It's weird because I don't see it in the list of BC games. Also, those guys are aware that it's been delisted for years, but they brought it up because they think that there's a possibility of delisted games becoming BC. Can anyone here confirm that it actually is BC? I'm just curious.

Gauntlet isn't BC. I own it and it hasn't shown up. I think they mean Golden Axe, which is delisted but is BC.

Well, they mentioned Midway, but I think you're right; they're most likely talking about Golden Axe.

However i am curious about what happened to geometry wars though.
The way to life is the key to victory.
Have they added anything else since the policy change?
Lets get it on FREAK!!

Delisted as in you can no longer buy it from Xbox.com or XBL.

Edit: I don't get what's happening with Geometry Wars, either. It was working fine in the preview program, months before BC was available to the general public. I can't imagine any reason why it hasn't officially been made BC yet.

Golden Axe is delisted. You can only buy the Golden Axe Trilogy. However Golden Axe & Golden Axe Trilogy are both backwards compatible.

Geometry Wars is still playable even though it's not officially supported. Very strange.

They haven't added any new BC games since the policy change either. Even stranger.

Looks like Doom II has been made BC, unless it already was and I just missed it.

Edit: nevermind, I think it already was, it's just weird under the community tab there's a message from Xbox from 4 hours ago that says doom II is now part of the BC titles on Xbox one.
