This is the track list for Project Cars 2...

Look at all those tracks that would be nice to play at a decent framerate and with usable controls...

People who have played PC2 say that the controls and framerate are great. I loved the first game but then again I was using a wheel and not a controller.

Day purchase here!

Thanks anyways, TC. Enjoy your NASCAR game!

I will be buying Forza 7 day one as all racing games are great with a proper wheel setup (which I have obviously), nevertheless all the rumours about Forza 7 being a letdown (relative to the series) are looking confirmed.

Forza being a letdown? I don't see that happening.

I hope you are right! I can't see it being better than Project Cars 2 but I would love to be wrong. I would really like it if Forza upped the simulation aspects of it, I would like it to have real 'wheel weight' in it, for example.

What rumours exactly?

I have been following racing gaming 'insiders' on YouTube for the last few months...
1. Before E3 they 'rumoured' that there was only going to be one new track (now confirmed).
2. They also rumoured no night racing (confirmed?)
3. They also rumoured no off-road or rallycross type racing (now confirmed to be correct)
4. After E3 they said that Forza only showed the Dubai track in the E3 presentation because that would be their only new track (now confirmed)
5. They rumoured a massive lack of new Forza content because Microsoft pushed them into putting their resources into 4K because they need to sell the new Xbox using Forza.

These insiders were given an exclusive behind the scenes look at Forza 7 and the 'BIG' thing that was shown to them was that you can unlock driving gloves in Forza 7. This was what the devs were excited to show them.

Those were never rumors. I follow insidesimracing.tv, neogaf, youtube sim racing, gtplanet, forzamotorsport.net, pcar forums and assetto forums, and none of those fake things you just said were rumors.

BTW, Forza 7 has night racing, and nobody asked for off road racing in Forza. That is why we have Forza Horizon for rally. MS didn't have to put resources into 4K because they already have the texture packs for PC, which is using UWP, and works on both Xbox and Windows. It is also confirmed that Turn 10 has not only NOT officially announced the tracks yet but they haven't announced which tracks are coming free as DLC like they have done in the past.

You mean what happens is they release the entry that has the most tracks, most cars, best graphics, and most advanced simulation in the series

But what value is it when it's just the SAME old tracks from previous games? Massive letdown imo. Will have to pick it up when it's in the bargain bin.

Still loads of great driving games left this year though...

1. Project Cars 2
2. F1 2017
3. NASCAR Heat 2

Terrible taste in racers. Terrible taste in trolling as well.
Will only change this sig if the PS4 Pro gets outsold by Project Scorpio - 3-1-17

Top Gear tried rally-x for their star in a reasonably priced car segment and look how that went. Nobody gave two s***s about it and they went back to the main track the following season. The Top Gear track is back so it's possible they have included that layout as well but if they haven't then it's no big loss.

I am disappointed that Phillip Island didn't make it, especially when they mentioned it in an interview as being one of the most requested tracks that hasn't been included yet. Hopefully they can add it as DLC.

On PC, I'm sure. On console, I doubt it. SMS has not proven themselves well in making console racing games.

Forza 7 has Maple Valley, Suzuka and Mugello. All three new to Xbox One generation. The last time they appeared were on the 360 on FM4. Thats 3.

As far as new tracks nothing is finalized and confirmed yet. Provide a link where the final confirmed track list with all the cars are.

Even though I believe project cars could possibly give a little competition to Forza 7, when it comes to the car list, forza beats them by miles. Hands down. Not even close.

PC must also fix their controls because the controls with PC 1 makes the game unplayable unless you own a wheel.

There are loads of other great racing games coming soon to Xbox so I am still excited...

1. Project Cars 2
2. F1 2017
3. Gravel
4. Baja HD
5. NASCAR Heat 2

While all of these titles you listed put the new Gran Turismo game to shame, none of them quite match the bar of excellence set by Forza 7 so far.

Forza defined the Car Simulator Genre, it was always the highest selling franchise in the genre by a HUGE margin. - Izraeil

Eh, don't really care; I've lost interest in the core Forza series and track-based racing games in general. I'll stick with Horizon.
