The Xbox One X can do games 4K/60FPS without compromises. It just can't do ALL games without compromises.

...similar to the Pro...right?

Correct.

The difference will be that the Xbox One X will be able do more games 4K/60FPS because it's more powerful.

Not only more games at 4K/60FPS but games will also have a higher graphical fidelity (4k Textures, Better Lighting, Practical effects ect.)

A PS4 Pro game can be 4K/30FPS with current PS4/Xbox One graphical settings but the same game on the Xbox One X would be 4K/30FPS with High-Ultra PC settings.

Its going to be a night and day difference.

Don't forget about that list going around with cold hard facts. Xbox 1 X does fewer and I do mean fewer games in checkboarding mode.
Will only change this sig if the PS4 Pro gets outsold by Project Scorpio - 3-1-17

Yeah, I think I saw at list on NeoGAF a bit back when there was only 80 enhanced games on the list. Out of those 80, 63 of those titles were Native.

In my opinion, either the last ~3 years of highlighting the advantages of the PS4 over the Xbox One were futile, or the past couple months of regurgitating the similarities between the Pro and One X are inconsistent with aforementioned values ("refined / discerning").

You would think the ones that have been focused on where multi-plats ran best (on console) would still be doing the same.

Instead, they are focused on marketing statements, even though no one from Microsoft said: "all games will be in 4K/60fps."

Seems odd to me that people would be so focused on those numbers when they weren't concerned with 1080p/60fps before; just which version ran best.

"but I have never focused on 1080p or 60fps...

just on 1080 > 900 > 720..."

Also, seems weird when they've said the lack of 4K/60fps in all games is not an issue for them anyways.

"and the compromised checkerboarding and sub 4k/60fps isn't an issue for me..."

Is Quincy covering his tracks by deleting his posts soon after posting them or is he actually getting modded that much suddenly? Kinda sketchy if he is deleting his posts. Is he afraid the things he says now are going to come back and bite him in the ass later, like most of his older posts about graphics mattering so much to him. I find it odd that suddenly graphics arent that huge of a deal to him anymore.

Most likely damage control by him. Which is why we are fortunate enough for screen caps to capture his sad trolling fails.

I also see that you ignored the $150 question. Only one being dishonest is you.

Apologies, I was getting information from other sources...

The price difference, depending on where in the world you are, is now being designated as between $100-approx $200...even more expensive than I had originally thought...who knew...?
Price

Here's where the real battle kicks off. In most regards, the Xbox One X outperforms the PS4 Pro, but the tables turn when it's time to reach for your wallet. At $649, the X is $90 more expensive than the $559.95 RRP of the PS4 Pro, but that $90 gets you plenty of extra bang for your buck. However, what's interesting is that some retailers are starting to drop the Pro's price even further, selling it for $460 or less. At nearly $200 cheaper than the X, the Pro begins to justify itself as a premium console without a premium price tag.

Our verdict

Like the clash between the original Xbox One and PS4, the choice between the Xbox One X and the PS4 Pro comes down to the type of gamer you are. If you accept no substitutes when it comes to the best visuals and performance, the X is the system for you. On the other hand, if you're simply looking for a console capable of showing off your new 4K TV, snapping up a Pro for the $460 it's started selling for could be the better option.

So Xbox One X owners will be able to experience Ark at 1080p at 60FPS, while PS4 Pro users have to settle on a blurry 720p for the same framerate? Good to know! Most reasonable people would happily accept over DOUBLE the resolution for a measly $100.

...actually that's $100 to almost $200, depending on where you live...so almost DOUBLE...so deeper pockets will fare better regarding the purchase...as one recent article that someone posted stated...

The jury is still out on whether the console will be able to justify its lavish price tag but, for now...

Weren't you just going on about altering quotes?

The jury is still out on whether the console will be able to justify its lavish price tag but, for now, you should be very excited about the future of native 4K HDR gaming in the living room.
