I'm curious if anyone has any issues like this and if so how they fixed it? Everytime I put the Xbox One to sleep and try to wake it up with the controller it will not sync up. Even if I manually turn on the Xbox with the button on front and try to sync both the Xbox and the controller it fails to link. I have to actually full shut down the Xbox to get it working again. While this issue is happening the controller will work via USB cord.

I checked for controller firmware and I'm not in any beta firmware for the Xbox One itself.

I'm in a different house now but all the electronic equipment is the same.

I’ve had it happen a few times, but not often enough for it to be an issue.

It's nearly every time. Bah!

Oh well, hopefully when I get the Xbox One X it'll resolve it.

@Error1355

Are you using the original X1 or the S?

The issue only happens with my S, my original console sees about as much use but it’s never happened with that.

This problem happened to me a lot a year or two ago. But it went away. I don’t remember doing anything to fix it.
