Game hardware (including SNES Classic, etc.) sales volume in the US was up 44% in November (cumulative Apr–Nov FY3/18 sales were up 38%), while software sales were up 2% (down 1%). The PS4 came out top for hardware
sales, with a likely large impact from Black Friday sales. The Xbox One, which launched the new high-spec X console, came in second. Both consoles saw roughly 40% growth YoY.

The Switch saw a large increase in sales volume in comparison to October, but we still sense that trends are slowing down. We do not explicitly forecast monthly sales volumes in each region, but we have the impression that US sales volume for the Switch in November was within expectations. Nintendo's hardware sales tend to see strong trends in December thanks to seasonal demand, and thus we believe that sales will grow MoM in December.
As for software, Call of Duty: WWII (Activision Blizzard) came out top in the US (PS4 came top on a SKU basis; xbox One second), while Super Mario Odyssey came in second (Switch exclusive, Nintendo)
There are no specific numbers in the update but the included figure seem to show PS4:Switch at about 2:1 and Xbox One was marginally (maybe 10%) less than PS4

I figured there might be a spike...it was just a matter of how much...and how/if it would actually affect the state of things...

Thanks for the link!
Q: "I presume there will never be an Xbox One sold without it...Would that be correct?"
A: "Correct. Xbox One is Kinect." Microsoft VP

Wow, very surprised PS4 still outsold the xbone even with the xbonex release. PS4 seems to have a stranglehold on the gaming market.

wow xbox one x sold 700k+ plus I find that impressive. I guess S didn't sell that great then is to why they lost the month but still xbox one x selling that many is a win anyways. PRO didn't even come close to selling 700k last year with nov/dec combined.

Too bad TC isn't getting any of this money that MS, Sony, and Nintendo are making. Sucks to be a corporate slave.

If you got by Money wise, MS won in a landside considering $500 is better than $200 lol.

I'm surprised by that. I expected PS4 to come out on top because of that $199 deal. But between the $189 xbox and The X launch MS managed to best Nintendo.

Maybe if Ninty dropped the Switch price for black friday they probably woulda got closer to 1 mil
