I've been saying for years that they should make all pokémon games cel-shaded. It just works so so well.

Absolutely. With Pokémon making the (expected) jump to 3D, I was expecting soulless polygon models of our favorite pokémon. At least these cell-shaded models have some personality to them.

I can't say the same for the overworld yet, which sadly reminds me of the pointless 3D in Final Fantasy IV for the DS, but oh well.

D - I would have preferred the models from Pokédex 3D Pro but I honestly much prefer these cel-shaded 3D models than dated sprites.
