'Cuz I don't think he is since he was created in a lab by humans.

Legendary is just anything with 600 BST and above and difficult to obtain. 600BST but easy to obtained Pokemon are pseudo-legendaries. The 580 BST legendaries are called pseudo-non-legendary-legendaries.

There is only one of him, and he's one of the most powerful psychic creatures in the entire world.

Yes, by definition of "there is only one of him" he is considered a legendary

Lolwhut?

Anyway, there's probably at least urban legends about a strong monster created by humans that it's roaming free.

It's true. A legendary is stated as any Pokemon with a Base Stat Total of 600 or more, cannot evolve or breed and are only available once from each save file without trades.

I think he was "lolwut"ing at the pseudo-non-legendary-legendaries, which is a term I've never heard before.

No, the dude is trying to say Pokemon like most of the trios aren't legendaries because their BST isn't 600. Or have I been drinking too much again?

A legendary Pokemon is any Pokemon that cannot be gotten more than once in any single playthrough, barring trading.

Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo
Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Lugia, Ho-oh
Registeel, Regice, Regirock, Latias, Latios, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza
Azelf, Uxie, Mesprit, Regigigas, Heatran, Cresselia, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina
Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, Tornadus, Thundurus, Landorus, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem

Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Deoxys, Shaymin, Manaphy, Darkrai, Arceus, Keldeo, Meloetta, and Genesect are not Legendary Pokemon. They are Mythical Pokemon, a term that the Pokemon Company coined to describe event-only Pokemon.

Phione is neither, because Phione can be bred en masse from both Manaphy and other Phione. Phione is nothing more than a unique single-stage Pokemon that has an interesting acquisition method. And no, it does not require a Manaphy to obtain. You can get Phione from My Pokemon Ranch by depositing 250 Pokemon.

Oh. Those are legendaries too since they can only be caught once per save file. I guess they're confusing Uber with Legendary.

Uber- Things like Mewtwo, Rayquaza, Arceus, Dialga, Zekrom.
