While magic guard is the obvious choice, what about an ability that does the opposite of Tinted Lens. Now attacks that are super effective against it are halved in power.
Or what about an ability that only takes the primary type into account when determining weaknesses, but retains the secondary type when determining resistances and immunities. That would really benefit any Fire/Flying type, because they would only lose a fighting resistance, while they lose an electric and Ice weakness, and a rock weakness is reduced to 2x
