I remember a lot of people being unsettled by this rumor saying everybody was starting fresh.

CoD is the best game series ever and it will never be topped ever never. This sig is 100% serious and not a joke at all. Nope.

I don't have any Pokemon to carry over, so it wouldn't really affect me either way.
Often, when you try too hard to act superior, the opposite occurs.

so far only gen 1 and 2 cant be carry over because of hardware limitation... no such limitation exist with current technology.

unless they revamp the whole game again... but again, even with that happen no reason it cant be done... all they have to do is add an extra step to translate the old format into the new format.
You cant compare RE5 to Dead Space, its like comparing a broken SDTV to brand new HDTV.

The Poké Transfer Lab in BW wasn't revealed until late July 2010, about two months before release, so I think it's a bit early to tell yet.

Of course you'll be able to migrate pokemon, Nintendo isnt that bone-headed to force people to fully start over when there are 649+ pokemon and about 15 event-exclusives.
they just havent announced it yet because there are bigger topics to address.
