That actually gives me an interesting Idea for a new team.

Thank you TC.

I thought about this too.

The cool thing about it is that the typings are mostly different and covers most weaknesses.

Agreed.

Now I just need to find a few non-water types with 'King' in their names, and I can start preparing this team, it should certainly be amusing.

Nidoking (poison/ground)
Kingler (Water)
Seaking (Water)
Slowking (Psychic/Water)
Kingdra (Water/Dragon)
Slaking (normal)

Wow. Imagine running into a Ludicolo or Ferrothorn. Slaking and Nidoking would be your only chance at full coverage. Kingdra and Slowking cover you against Dragons, Poison, and Fighting. Fire, Water, Ice, bug and Ghost won't be a problem. Nidoking covers your electric and Grass weakness somewhat.

Are those all the pokemon with 'King' in their names? Wow.... that Electric and Grass weakness. *Amused Chuckle* Thanks for the info, do you happen to know if any of those pokemon learn Skill Swap, or Worry Seed? Basically anything I can use to get rid of Slaking's ability and replace it something a bit more workable? I've already got an outline for a strategy in mind, limited as it may be.

Don't forget Koiking (magicarp)

Oh? I could probably work a Magikarp into the team.... Now that I think of it, as long as the letters 'king' are in the name of a Pokemon, I could probably use it. If I recall, Magikarp learns bounce (A Flying type move) by a Move Tutor correct? If so then, it should prove an amusing counter to Grass Types.

I should mention that I intend to use this team In-Game and not Online, by the way.

This. Is. Awesome

And I vote Nidoking even if he kinda sucks, tends to have a very good range of attacks.

Also, anyone notice that the pokemon with king in their names are water types mostly?

Of course they will need to hold King's Rock.

Easily done, I can just raise Slowking in Gen 4.
