This makes way more sense then te whole water argument. Plus poison really needs a buff and no one web likes bug types save a select few. Fairy also should be normal against steel as steel is already very strong. This whole dark psychic ghost thing could also use a tweak
If you believe in Jesus Christ and are 100% proud of it, put this in your sig.

Except Bug is already weak, it doesn't improve balance to improve one underpowered type by weakening another underpowered type. If they do so, they would have to make some other improvement to Bug. To that end, they could make it resist Fairy.

But making Poison SE to Water makes more sense because Water is already considered overpowered.

I agree. I think it make's sense too, with water pollution and all.

It would not effect that much actually. A lot of really good bug types are poison or steel type anyway.

So should poison be SE against flying because of air pollution?

Poison was super effective against Bug back in Gen 1 (and vice versa)

I'm not really sure why they decided to change that.

bugs like spiders and scorpion use poison as a defense/to hunt prey.

ariados. poisonous pokemon either have a poison typing, or poison moves. as poison is a type itself, it makes no sense to take the toxicity of insects into consideration when talking of poison type.

Poison should be SE against Water because of pollution (One Water pokemon isn't considered a large body of water, so no "water washes away poison" sort of thing)

Poison should be SE against Fighting. Just look at what happened to the hero in the movie Fearless.
