Voted other just because I don't pick the same type starter for each generation. I usually just go for the one I like the look of most. However, alot of the time the choice is hard for me. I found generations 3 and 4 hard to pick my starter, generation 5 was a litttle easier than them (although I'm not really into any of the gen 5 starters) and generations 1 and 2 were pretty easy as I had definite favourites at the time. Generation 6 is pretty hard to pick a favourite, though. I like all 3 too much to pick a favourite but if I had to, Froakie would more likely be it.
I have been thinking using Chespin as my starter in Pokemon Y but just recently I've been leaning towards Fennekin more now. It's too hard to stick to one choice when I like them almost equally.
Yeah, these choices are pretty hard, although not as hard as Gen 3 and 4 because I definitely decided so far to not pick Chespin. It reminds me of Turtwig anyway and I didn't go that far with him (since it died almost all the time). I'm leaning towards Fennekin the most, but Froakie has my love too, even though Water is one of my least favorite types.

I think I'll always be picking Water as my starter type, so no, I'm not changing. I usually choose based on design and I always seem to love the Water starter's designs. Besides, Water hasn't had a bad starter so far but even if it did, I doubt I'd change since Water's my 2nd favourite type. Johto is the only starter set I have had to think over. While I still ended up with Totodile, it was not because of design since I dislike all 3 in that regard.
