1 save per cartridge? That is it for me sometimes. If you want to play the game again, you can't without deleting everyone & everything. Can't let little siblings borrow it. They'll erase your data and then you have to push them in front of that giant RV driving by. :P

My sis normally covers the other game's exclusives for me. I'm getting Y. But if I want to play the game again or something I might get X. Lucky for Nintendo, 3DS games are cheaper then the console games.
Donnel is my # 1 bro. We fist bump, slay some risen, eat some chicken strips, bomb the Valmese and steal sugar from Gaius on a daily basis. Like a Boss. FE:A

Is it just collectors intuition or something?

Pretty much. And what a completionist like myself, does.

Getting both legendaries, easier access to exclusives, farming event pokemon and starters, the ability to play again without erasing save data, etc
Take your pick

all of the above hopefully its easy to start the game and get the event torchic i intend to collect a bunch so if a friend needs one with the item i have extra

I haven't gotten both versions since Gold and silver, my parents got me the GS bundle that had both games, i still have them cus i know they are going to be collectors items.

Im a collector now and able to afford it,

I own all American releases of pokemon so far.
Red, Blue, Yellow
Gold, Silver, Crystal
Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, LeafGreen
Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, SoulSilver
Black, White, Black2, White2

I have X and Y preordered and fully paid

I going to play X first.

I bought both Black and White 2 because if I ever get bored of the endgame once I beat the elite 4 and do everything, I can just play the other copy and start over so I don't lose anything. Thanks Fellwolf and L4DHunter! <3

It's Nintendo draining the money from completionists and people with OCD
