Always had multiple games (GB->GBC-GBA* then DS->Lite->i, now 3DS) I got all versions anyway plus I used pokecheck/pokesav/pokegen later on. *I had a 4 way gba link cable with one port that worked with GBC games so I traded in GSC that way eventually.

Back when Heart Gold came out, I would use the GTS to painstakingly transfer some of my Diamond Pokemon.

I happened to have a spare DS.
size does not matter....weight does.

my little sister plays Pokemon so if i get this version my sister gets the other version and she has her own DS/3DS. so, we both benefit because then we trade version exclusives to each other's files and starters.

Ruby and Sapphire are not compatible with the Wireless Adapter.
